The thing I'm proudest of from forty years on the railroad isn't a contract or a vote. It's a culture.

The union local we built in the nineties is still standing. Different leaders. Different generation. Same accountability. Same loyalty. Same fight in them.

That's not because of me. It's because we built something the people who came after wanted to protect.
